- Game designers are writers they create the story the back round stories and the other things.
- To make one game you need many game designers because they all help with the story or back story of the characters or places and it helps by giving more ideas.

What I learned about the topic
- The game designers have to make a story that goes on and on that has a sense to it. It has to have a point an idea it follows.
- In the creation of a game there's the principle game designer which takes care of art work of box, who's going to buy it, what is about, why is it like that. All the general things.

- This impacts my life because I'm an average gamer and I really wanted to know how this was done and who helped in it. Know I now somethings such as who work in it how many people are helping to create this story and back stories locations and other things.

Why is it good to do a portfolio for your college applications and what should be in it?

- Portfolios are a way of organizing your Out and inside High School life. This is for the colleges to see what have you been doing out of school such as job related experiences, extracurricular activities, and also in school such as academically (Grades, extracurricular activities in school). This is helping for when you leave school; for your future. This reflects on how responsible you are with your time in other things that you have done great in life. Its and important indicator of future success. These portfolios should contain some things that will help these colleges see what you've done in High School.
Portfolios are organized in different sections such as Personal Information, Academic Information, Extracurricular Activities, his/her job history and social service and Resources. These things are reflected by their best things he/she did in life but also improvements in life not only academic but as a person. In this portfolio the Personal Information part is about your personal and family documents also about parents education and profession and special needs if he/she has any. The Academic Information is about all your school grades, test, GPA, recommendations, reflection on what classes he/she did well on and special assignments he/she did. Extracurricular Activities are like MUN, top dogs, leadership and others. The next one talks about job experiences and social service thing you did. The last part is were you keep all the college information and things about it because you have to start preparing for college emotionally, financially and academically.

1. Download Google SketchUp and learn how to use the simple things.
2. Find out how to build and what great things you can do.

What I did in class...
-This is what I created after 3 fail attempts. The first one didn't go as planed, the others had an error from my part. This last try turned out well it like a blue print in 3D scale of what I want to build.
- Also I learned about the different templates you can use in this "game". This is what made it so difficult at first but then I figured it out after the third try.
- For next class I would like to learn how to make a second floor and how to put thing inside the house. I will look for tutorials and ask my class mates.

Google 20% Project
For my Google 20% project I will be looking and learning about somethings in an architecture program called google sketchup. This will help me learn how to do blueprints, houses and other online ways of architecture. This program is great because it has all the tools you need to build a house, such as the doors, the length's and many other things. I will do everything from 0 until I have a perfect house.
I will present this by doing a video with my everyday progress. I'll start from 0 and accomplish my final project (house) which I will record this progress on my computer. I will also list the things that I have to accomplish to learn the great things this program has to show me. I will talk about how I learned how to use the skills I named and more.
